Therapy works in a way that is both safe and meets you at a place where you feel comfortable. Therapy is a collaboration and we work together to meet your needs and work towards positive change.
I offer both short and long term therapy based on your goals for therapy and we will agree to a treatment plan that suits you. I can offer sessions both online and face to face as well as evening sessions.
Therapy will occur weekly in order to maximise the benefits of therapy. Sessions are typically an hour long.
At the beginning of therapy we will work out a shared understanding of your problems and difficulties. This will involve an assessment of what has been contributed towards these problems as well as what is maintaining these difficulties. We will establish your goals for therapy and the changes you would like to make. We will agree a treatment plan based on your needs from therapy
Together we will work towards equipping you with the skills and techniques to address your difficulties. This will be practised in the sessions as well as tasks to complete outside of the therapy room
At the end of therapy we will bring together everything we have done in therapy and support you in developing a therapy blueprint.
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Trauma Psychotherapist and Systemic Practitioner. In addition to my private therapy, I have worked in the NHS for over 12 years supporting individual's with a range of disorders and difficulties. I am able to offer you a wealth of support and guidance based on my experience and knowledge.
